22 Jun LEMON CHICKEN WITH ONIONS
Ingredients
Chicken breast
Onion
Thyme (you can also use rosemary)
Garlic
Lemon
Salt and pepper

You ask and we deliver! Here’s the recipe to our pollo al limón | Lemon chicken.
This is a simple but delicious recipe and it is so easy to make! Searing the chicken will give it some color. I personally don’t like “colorless” food and baking it with a dutch oven will make it super soft and flavorful. Who likes hard, dry chicken?! Not me.
STEP 1
Marinate the chicken for a couple of hours or overnight with lemon, garlic, thyme salt and pepper. Juliane the onions.
STEP 2
Next morning or couple hours later: Pre heat oven 350.
STEP 3
On a hot dutch oven, seared the chicken both sides. (I do not add oil)
STEP 4
Add the juices of the marinate.
STEP 5
Add 1/4 cup of water.
STEP 6
Add the onions and lemon slices on top of the chicken.
Transfer to the oven and cook for 1 hr. Serve it with your favorite salad or veggies!
