CHOCOLATE CARLOTA

Ingredients

9x9 baking dish

2 cans media crema (table cream)

2 packages graham crackers (here I used Mexican galletas Marias)

2 tbs Unsweetened chocolate powder

2 tbs powdered sugar

1/2 tbs Vanilla

Directions

This is a version of the typical “Carlota” Mexican dessert. I’ve been making this dessert since I was 7! It’s my dad’s favorite and every time I see him I make it for him! Hope you love it just like him!

I used a mixer, but you can just use a whisk.

STEP 1

Whisk or mix the media crema, vanilla, unsweetened cocoa and powdered sugar (I only used 2 tbs but you can add more if you want it super sweet) until the mixture is creamy and fluffy for 5 min.

STEP 2

Add a little of the creamy mixture on the bottom of the baking pan, then add layers of cookies, and keep doing this until your pan is full. Make sure to finish with a thick layer of cream.

STEP 3

Decorate with pecans, walnuts, fruits, whatever you have handy!

And enjoy this sweet simple dessert. 😋
