AIR FRYER MILANESE

Ingredients

Chicken cutlets

Egg

Bread crumbs (I use rice flour crumbs)

Salt

Directions

Milanesas are super popular in Mexico at home, restaurants or you can find them in “torterias” (Mexican sandwiches). Coming home after school and having milanesas with salad and mashed potatoes made my day.

Thanks Mom! Also my mom would prepare a special salsa for Milanesas that is to die for (I will share another day). You can eat this milanesas in tacos or tortas with lots of avocado and salsa!

STEP 1

Scramble eggs in a bowl and add salt.

STEP 2

Place breadcrumbs in a bowl.

STEP 3

Dip the chicken cutlets first into the egg bowl and then to the breadcrumbs. Cover them completely on both sides.

STEP 4

Place the chicken cutlet into your air fryer and fry them for 20 min or until they are crispy (this might vary depending on your airfryer type).

SIDE NOTE

You can substitute dijon mustard for eggs and rice flour for bread crumbs. *These chicken cutlets will be dryer than fry cutlets.
