PECAN PIE

Ingredients

For the dough you’ll need:

110g butter (soft, not melted)

180g flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

60ml cold water

And for the filling:

4 eggs

1tsp salt

240g maple syrup

Vanilla

Chopped pecans

No Thanksgiving is complete without a Pecan Pie! This recipe is so simple yet delicious. 😋 You have to make it

For the dough:

STEP 1

Mix the flour with baking powder and salt.

STEP 2

In a bowl, add the butter and half the mix of flour, incorporate everything with your hands. Once it is well mixed add the other half of flour until you have a crumbly dough.

STEP 3

Add water little by little until the dough holds together and you can make a ball.

STEP 4

Refrigerate for 20 min.

STEP 5

Lightly flour your work surface and roll the dough big enough to fit your mold.

STEP 6

Use the scraps to make decorations for the pie.

And for the filling:

STEP 7

Preheat oven 350 F.

STEP 8

In a bowl, beat the eggs and then add the rest of the ingredients (salt, maple syrup, vanilla and pecans).

STEP 9

Add the filling to your pie.

STEP 10

Cook for 30 min or until the crust is crispy.
